Your top priority if elected or re-elected:
I continue to value the applied learning skills that vocational education offers to students. When re-elected, I intend to prioritize Career Technical Education as vital to preparing our young people for the world of work.
How will you involve your constituents in the process of making decisions?
I am very involved in the local community. Because of this, I am constantly monitoring concerns the citizens of my district share with me and voice their issues at board meetings and work sessions.
Why should voters choose you for the position you are running for?
My entire career has been centered around education and vocational training. This experience and expertise helps to make me a very valuable member of the Board of Education.
What three things about you do you most want voters to know?
1. I listen to constituent concerns and return their phone calls and email messages in a timely manner. 2. I am very experienced in education and have a lifetime of expertise in vocational education, which I can use to continue to improve our CTE programs. 3. I am a student, parent and teacher advocate and will fight for their well-being and promotion.
