I will ask for constituents' input via email, social media, public forums, town halls, Board of Commission public hearings, etc.
Why should voters choose you for the position you're running for?
I have a long history of serving others. I have been performing social work duties since 1984. I know how to serve others. Voters should choose me because I know how to engage folk, listen to folk, problem-solve, create solutions. etc. I know how to build consensus in order to get the job done.
Which three things about you do you most want voters to know?
1. I promote and support public education
2. I promote and support smart economic growth and business for Pitt County
3. I promote and support adequate funding for mental health and substance abuse services and supports.
Is there anything else about you that you wish to tell voters?
I am the fifth of eight children born to sharecropper parents in Pitt County. I believe in the following ideals: family, education, hard work, faith, community, inclusion and acceptance.
