If you're elected or re-elected, what will be your top priority? Why?

Upon re-election my top priority is to continue supporting the citizens of Pitt County and the sustainability of Veterans Court.

If you're elected or re-elected, how will you involve your constituents in the process of making decisions?

I pride myself on being active in the community and perpetually engaging with the concerns of constituents. The responsibility of my office is to serve the people of Pitt County through the fair and impartial administration of criminal law according to the statues of the United States and North Carolina.

Why should voters choose you for the position you're running for?

I am thankful for the opportunity to have served the people of Pitt County for the last eight years. When I campaigned in 2018, I voiced my desire that a mental health court be established and amid the pandemic, stakeholders and I came together to implement it. My office secured a nearly million-dollar grant for the creation of Pitt County Veteran’s Court, which has been running successfully since January. Most importantly I have worked to ensure that citizens can trust the administration of justice in Pitt County.

Which three things about you do you most want voters to know?

I am excited to see the continued growth, expansion and enrichment of Pitt County.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the people of Pitt County and the duties thereof.
