    If you're elected or re-elected, what will be your top priority? Why?

    Representing the people of Greenville and focusing on keeping Greenville safe by enhancing public safety, growing our tax base by working with our local partners to bring jobs to our community, investing heavily in our public infrastructure, and growing recreational amenities to keep Greenville as a fun place to live.

    If you're elected or re-elected, how will you involve your constituents in the process of making decisions?

    I would encourage citizens to get involved with our boards and commissions, participate in community outreach meetings, show up to city council meetings to speak during the public comment period, participate in the upcoming 10-year strategic plan, and our current UDO discussions. I also encourage citizens to reach out to myself and other council members through email and engage with their local elected officials.

    Why should voters choose you for the position you're running for?

    I work very hard for the citizens of Greenville and over the last four terms as the mayor of our great city I have focused on making Greenville a better place to live for everyone. A tremendous amount of progress has been made over the past eight years, and I look forward to the opportunity to earn the support of the voters in our community.

    Which three things about you do you most want voters to know?

    I want voters to know that I work tirelessly for our community, I am open to listening to all points of view, and I want what is best for Greenville and our community at large.

    Is there anything else about you that you wish to tell voters?

    It has been an honor to serve our community over the past four terms as the mayor and one term as a member of the city council. I will continue to focus on making Greenville a better place for all in our community and addressing key issues that our community faces.

    Candidate for Mayor of Greenville. Retired public servant with a lifetime of experience in community development and local government leadership.

    Master’s Degree in Social Work


    If you’re elected or re-elected, what will be your top priority? Why?


    My top priority will be creating a stronger, safer and more inclusive community for all residents. This includes investing in youth programs, improving public safety, and fostering economic opportunities. I believe that when our community thrives, every family has the chance to succeed, and every resident feels valued and heard.


    If you’re elected or re-elected, how will you involve your constituents in the process of making decisions?


    I am committed to maintaining open and transparent communication with my constituents. This includes hosting regular town hall meetings, creating advisory committees for key issues, encouraging public input on initiatives, and leveraging digital platforms to gather feedback. My goal is to ensure that residents are part of the conversation every step of the way.

    Voters should choose me because I bring decades of hands-on experience in public service, a proven record of advocating for community needs, and a heartfelt commitment to putting people first. I listen, I collaborate and I act with integrity to ensure Greenville is a city where everyone can thrive.

I am passionate about fostering unity, empowering residents, and creating a Greenville that we can all be proud to call home.
